"Somehow, it just doesn't look right... It must not be for me."

This was a frustration that Le Khanh Van, co-founder and fashion designer of EMROSE, knew all too well.

As a 5'0" (153cm) woman, her journey to create clothes for herself—and for all petite women who share the same struggle—began with a deep love for fashion and a personal history of continuous compromise.

EMROSE is a brand born from that very feeling.

The Gap Between Ideal and Reality: The "S-Size" Contradiction

I have always loved a style that is chic and sophisticated.

However, whenever I searched for clothing, I found myself facing a frustrating reality. I would find a dress in my ideal style, see the "S-Size" label with a sense of relief, and try it on. But the sleeves would be too long, or the waistline would sit at an unnaturally low spot. With long-length items, especially, even if I had them hemmed, the entire balance of the piece would be thrown off. It was impossible to achieve the ideal silhouette I had seen on the model.

"The style I love" and "the size that fits my body."

Finding a single garment that satisfied both of these was incredibly difficult. Fashion is supposed to be joyful, but at some point, it had become a "search for the best compromise" for me.

"I have to stop compromising.
I will create the clothes I truly want to wear with my own hands.
And in doing so, I will empower other petite women who surely face the same challenges."

Behind this resolution was the influence of my mother.

For many years, my mother has poured her passion into her work in bespoke tailoring, creating custom garments for each individual client. In her atelier, pieces that make a person's body look its most beautiful are born from adjustments down to the millimeter.

I had the knowledge of fashion design. And I had the environment to bring the highest quality to life, with a deep understanding of clothing construction inherited from my mother. When these two worlds connected, my years of frustration transformed into a powerful passion to create a new brand.

EMROSE is not just another fashion brand for petite women.

Our goal is to realize a value that is self-evident yet often forgotten: "Clothes should be made to fit the person, not the other way around." We are particularly obsessed with the waistline and the length. Just a few centimeters of difference here can dramatically change the entire impression. Together with a team of skilled artisans, we obsess over these small differences, pursuing patterns that make a petite woman's body look its most beautiful.
